Valleverde country house:
in Gubbio, Umbria, a region known as the "Green Heart of Italy", in ideal
starting point for hiking to Assisi, Perugia, Todi, Torgiano, Lago Trasimeno, Grotte di
Frasassi. An ideal point from which to discover Umbria and the Marche region, areas full
of history, art, nature and spirituality. A very short distance away is Monte Cucco which
is a famous launching spot for hanggliders.
Valleverde is a very attractive restored old house, fitted with all the necessities, with
a swimming pool. It is located in the centre of a 200 hectare "biologic"
farm, in an enchanting umbrian valley close to the Appennines. Running through the land
are trekking and mountain-bike routes, as well as hiking paths for long walks in the
charming woods which are teeming
with wildlife and where truffles and wild mushrooms are found in the season.
